Lenovo Vibe K5 Note full review
Lenovo Vibe K5 Note is successor to Lenovo Vibe K4 Note. The K5 Note is certainly a same pedestal from Lenovo to show off its TheaterMax technology that allows consumers to have VR-like experiences on a smartphone as seen on Lenovo Vibe K4 Note. It lands in the same price range that is 10000-12000 and is priced at Rs 11,999/-INR or $175-$180 (US Dollar) for 3GB Ram version and 4 Ram version at rs Rs 13,499/- INR is a Flipkart Exclusive and it gives tough competition to Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and LeEco Phones.
Lenovo Vibe K5 Note comes with a 5.5-inches full HD IPS LCD display with a 1920×1080 pixels resolution. The screen is brighter and has better contrast and much better viewing angles than the Lenovo Vibe K4 Note.The 5.5 inches gives all to the table for the viewers who want larger screen and better screen in mid-range smartphones.
Lenovo Vibe K5 Note is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with Mali-T860 GPU. It comes in 3GB and 4GB RAM options. The phone comes with 32GB of internal storage of which 23GB is available fo use) which is further expandable by up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
It comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Lenovo’s Pure UI. Disappointing is that the processor is Helio P10, in the same range Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes with Snapdragon 650 Processor and LeEco’comes with Mediatek X20 processsor are much better then Helio P10.
Lenovo Vibe K5 Note has a ok Ram-management and there were some lags while multitasking on this device while playing heavy graphic games rest it was ok as the processor it nit that good at this range.Applications got loaded quickly and the screen responded to touches very quickly without lagging . Ram management was not that good.
There was no heating issue while charging the phone or talking on calls or while playing heavy graphics games like Asphalt 8 :Airborne ,Dead Trigger etc.Sound Quality was good on speaker and on earphones too .Overall Performance was Good.
Rear/Back camera on the Vibe K5 Note comes with a 13-megapixel camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) with dual LED flash. Focus was fast and accurate. The rear camera was able to shoot some good photos in good lighting conditions. Indoor photos were a mixture of noise and less detail. Shots taken in Lightning conditions were a bit washed out.
Front camera on the Vibe K5 Note comes with a 8-megapixel camera. Front camera was good to take some decent selfies .
The 3500mAh battery on the \Lenovo Vibe K5 Note which is non-removable .Battery on Lenovo Vibe K5 Note easily survived one-day with normal usage with full charge.
7. Final Conclusion
At a price of Rs 11,999/- (INR) it gives almost to the table with a decent camera and efficient Ram for users to use without facing any lags and enough power that lasts upto one day with normal usage. With heavy usage there were some lags noticed while playing heavy graphic games. It also powers with Lenovo’s TheaterMax technology that allows consumers to have VR-like experiences on a smartphone as seen on Lenovo Vibe K4 Note. You can also go for 4 GB Ram version at Rs 13,499/-
